Wile this duvet cover is lightweight, it is what I needed at this time. The items were easy to wash (pre-use) and dried up nicely on the 'gentle' cycle. Fits the down comforter well. I have a much 'heavier' and more expensive cover that I will start using next winter (matches new bedding that I will unpack once the bedroom has been repainted). The cover I previously used was probably 7-10 years old and basically worn out. The color of the new duvet cover is nice and the product seems to be a good value for the price. With seasonal use and proper care this cover would probably last 2 or more seasons before it would need replacing. I also like the zippered bottom opening...much easier to insert/remove the down comforter than the 'button fastener' style.I was a little disappointed in this cover. At first I thought I was sent the wrong item--and I had been sent a sheet set. Couldn't believe this material was used for a duvet cover--as it was thin and similar to a sheet. I suppose I should have suspected from the price. But I would have paid a lot more to receive a normal weight and thickness for a duvet cover. The zipper is very cheap--and gets stuck. The cover is black and the zipper is white. How much trouble would it have been to put a matching zipper on it? I plan to put it over an old duvet and just use it outside. I will say, the fabric has a softness to it that is nice. It was going to go on a loft bed, and I've decided to put it over an old duvet and keep in a closet for guests--or for out side on the deck chairs when it's cold.I purchased this set for my guest room. It's a simple, clean look, and looks lovely on the bed. It seems quite well made and sturdy, but since it's so new, I can't attest to it's durability after multiple washings, but I will update the review if it doesn't hold up. The material is not rough (although it's not extra silky) and feels cool to the touch. My favorite feature is that is has a zipper opening instead of buttons, so replacing the comforter isn't as tedious. I wish it had tabs inside to secure the comforter, and because it doesn't I can only give it 4 stars.Great find. Easy clean and wrinkle-free. I would give it 5 stars but for one thing........it would be better if It had ties at the inside corners to attach to comforter loops. I added some so my made-4-duvet comforter doesn’t bunch up or slide around inside the duvet.Material in delicate, very soft, zipper is delicate, I zip in before laundering. On my guest bed so only getting minimal use. Not sure it would be long lasting if it is used daily, but that is just speculationSoft, white, light and coolSuper soft! The color (eggplant) is rich and deep. Only washed it once, so can’t say if it’s color fast yet.It is ok. Soft and a nice shade of grey. The seams are well sown and the zipper worked. It is only 3 stars because the fabric is very thin and there are no ties in the corners to hold the duvet insert.I use in my guest room so have only washed it twice in the 4 months I've had it. Went to open the zipper this 2nd time and the pull tab came off, I thought no big deal but then the whole zipper started coming apart. The teeth of the zipper are popping out. To be fixed a whole new zipper is required.I email the seller and they were quite succinct that I was out of luck, didn't even ask questions or attempt to come to an agreement.The price is not even worth what you actually get. Be wary!the product contains 85% polyester , therefore mentioning bamboo in the title, it looks to me like a trap.most microfiber polyester fabrics I tried feel soft. NOT this one.there is nothing Egyptian except another trick attempt from this sellerthe fabric feels rough.if "Egyptian comfort" is important to you.. whatever that means, I suggest to find Egyptian cotton, an Egyptian spa .. anything else than 15% bamboo chemically treated mixed with 85% polyesterDon’t love it. Slippery synthetic feel. Guess I didn’t read the fine print about it being mostly microfibre. Tried to return it but seller doesn’t pay for return shipping and for $20 postage- I’ll just try to resell it or something.UPDATE: After deciding to keep it, I washed the duvet cover in warm water. I love it! It’s so soft And doesn’t smell chemical-ly anymore. I’m now so happy with it on my bed! My only star removal is because the zipper seems flimsy and it would be really nice to have ties inside to keep the duvet from shifting. Thanks!I juste receive it and the zipper was already broken and some seams are broken too ...For the price its about as good as you can expect for a king duvet cover. no inside ties to hold the duvet in place and the material is soft but cheap feeling. I had higher expectations due to an on sale queen size one i bought from another seller being so amazing.Edit: Just over a month later and the zipper no longer works!
